Terms of Service

Agreement and operator

By using Puzzle Battle, you agree to these Terms. If a separate clickwrap is presented for a feature, such as joining the waitlist, that specific assent applies to the stated feature as well. Agreeing to receive marketing or product emails is separate from ordinary gameplay.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are a minor, you need parent or guardian permission where required by law. Puzzle Battle does not currently use a gameplay age gate or age verification. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the waitlist or survey; a parent or guardian may contact us about deletion.

The service

Puzzle Battle provides free puzzle games, fixed-target races that measure completion time, optional shareable challenge links, an optional waitlist, and an optional feedback survey. It is an experimental, pre-release service. Features may change, pause, or end, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, an invitation, launch timing, or a particular feature.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information and is part of these Terms. Withdrawing optional email or analytics consent, where applicable, does not by itself end access to ordinary gameplay.

License and ownership

Subject to these Terms, Dosagas LLC grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the service for personal use. Dosagas LLC and its licensors retain rights in the website, software, design, art, branding, and content. These Terms do not restrict any use that applicable law does not permit us to restrict.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully or in a way that interferes with others. In particular, do not:

• use malware, attack or probe security, seek unauthorized access, or impersonate another person;
• use abusive scraping or excessive automation, or cheat in a way that burdens the service or intentionally distorts results;
• interfere with the service, its network, or another person's data; or
• reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.

Challenge links and feedback

Challenge short IDs are public and shareable, not secret credentials. Anyone with a finished link may view the game, race target, and completion time and replay the same seeded puzzle sequence. A share link may also contain an opaque referral token used only to measure that the link was opened and which game it promoted; it does not identify a recipient or provide access to an account. You control where you share a link. The current link does not include an account name or personal message. Results have limited anti-cheat validation, and challenge/referral links may expire or be removed as retention controls evolve.

If you send voluntary feedback or survey responses, you grant Dosagas LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback as needed to develop and improve the service, without payment. You keep ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property, and this clause does not override the Privacy Policy or applicable data-protection law.

Third parties, changes, and suspension

Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms and practices. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, unlawful conduct, or a material breach of these Terms.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Puzzle Battle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the service will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or available at a particular time. The service is for entertainment and is not suitable for safety-critical reliance. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Dosagas LLC and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service. Our total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (which is ordinarily zero for this free service). This limit does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law and other terms

Maryland law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights and legally required forum, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts serving Baltimore, Maryland. We do not require arbitration, a jury waiver, or a class-action waiver in these Terms.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale; you may not assign them without our consent. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, survive termination.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice and update the effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires a different process. Contact hello@puzzlebattle.games with questions.
